I thoroughly enjoyed this small hotel for its family atmosphere and top-class and thoughtful staff. Its location a 10-15 minute walk from a daily market was good and perfect.

Had favourable and unbeatable location outside of the hot pod everything else was great, not too far from Hirata Folk Art Museum. Beautiful, warm room with a microwave oven, a fridge, and coffee/tea making facilities.

Big room overlooking garden. Central heating, a private safe, and a microwave oven in the room. Favourable, incredible location in Takayama, right by train station and most attractions and sightseeing in Takayama area and coffee shops. For tea or coffee visit Jinya Tango nearby.

Everything was really good with newly decorated and big size rooms. Amazing and fresh meals. Location so close to food restaurants and the city center.

The rooms are large and also beautiful. The price is just right - US$ 7674. The location is fantastic, short walk to various sightseeing spots nearby and both the train/bus station and the old town and sightseeing - couldn't be better.

We got newly decorated and big size room with a huge bathroom. Every stuff member was very friendly and thoughtful. Our accommodation was set in a central location just next door to 10minutes for the historical centre, train station and most attractions and coffee shops.

This was a fine stay for a night. The rooms where recently refurbished and I enjoyed very friendly stuff. Private bathroom. Also, location was good and stunning, within walking distance of Hida Takayama Onsen. The area was really quiet very close to hte historic old town in less than 5 minutes as well as major tourist points of Takayama. Nothing too much trouble, the venue met the purpose, totally recommend it.

Had good stay for a night and the weather was wonderful. The rooms were reasonably large and incredible with large bathrooms. The bed was extremely comfy & the staff was best. The hotel had a stunning location 4-6 minutes walking distance from a mountainside park.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, no reason to complain. The rooms are new-fashioned with lovely beds and smoke detectors. The atmosphere of the hotel is special.

I had a fantastic solo stay at this lovely hostel in a beautiful area. The location was perfect, close to downtown and the center of town, making it easy to explore. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing tips and recommendations for local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were well-maintained. I also enjoyed a delicious dinner at a superb little cafe nearby. The only downside was that the walls were a bit thin.

A wide range of good food. Nice building, fantastic location not far from various sightseeing spots, both the train station and main tourist areas and the takayama old town and takayama bus stop.

Super friendly staff who spoke good English and made me feel welcome with their smiles. Convenient location near the old town and parking was affordable. The dorms were spacious and offered great privacy with the cubicle design. The beds were comfortable and the hostel had a nice atmosphere. The bathhouse across the street was an amazing experience.

The soundproofing was a bit weak, could hear conversations from the neighboring rooms.
